Just a short note for any Charlton fans (or anyone) driving down to Yeovil tomorrow; you may be horrified to see signs telling you that the A303 is closed (at Mere) but don’t worry, this is only for midweek night-time roadworks and is clear during the day and at weekends.

Provided nobody hits the car in front (as two drivers did today – one in each direction between Stonehenge and Chicklade) and cause tailbacks, you should have decent run down and get to Yeovil about two hours (or two and a half if you keep your speed!) from joining the M25.
